BREATHE SOUND HEALING + MEDITATION at BREATHE Cambridge
BREATHE SOUND HEALING + MEDITATION is a holistic wellness practice that incorporates the therapeutic power of sound and meditation to facilitate deep relaxation and promote overall wellbeing. The session begins with a guided Mindfulness (Vipassana) Meditation that is designed to induce a state of heightened awareness and inner calm. This sets the stage for the next phase of the session, which involves an immersive sound bath that creates a tranquil and soothing environment for the body and mind to unwind and rejuvenate.
Jason Felitto, a skilled practitioner of sound healing, uses an array of traditional instruments such as Tibetan Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Koshi Chimes, Thai Tingsha, Balinese Hang Drum and rain sticks to create a unique and therapeutic soundscape. The vibrations and harmonics produced by these instruments have been shown to have a variety of healing benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving mood, and promoting better sleep.
BREATHE SOUND HEALING + MEDITATION is especially beneficial for those who live in urban environments and are exposed to the constant overstimulation of modern city life. The practice provides a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and allows participants to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with their inner selves.
