Iyengar Yoga 101: Building the Foundation Level 1/1+ at Blue Yoga Nyla Inc.
This class is a great choice for students looking to build strength, practice with precision, and focus on alignment. For those recovering from injury, experiencing unsteadiness, and/or stiffness, modifications of the poses are demonstrated with the use of various props for support. This class will rotate weekly between standing and seated poses, gentle back bends, forward bends, and twists. You will find this class challenging but in a safe, supported, and methodical way. Supine pranayama (reclined breathing practices) are introduced.
