Special Class: Introduction to Qigong at Republic of Yoga - Republic of Yoga
<div>Qigong (or Chi Kung) means life-energy cultivation. It is a holistic system of coordinated body-postures and movements, breathing and meditation applied for the purpose of wellness and spirituality. Some refer to Qigong as Chinese Yoga.<br/><p>Qigong is derived from ancient Chinese medicine, philosophy, and martial arts, and is an effective way to balance and rejuvenate the practitioner’s Qi (Chi). Qi can be translated as life-force, life-energy, or prana. Ongoing Qigong practice can aid a large range of medical conditions and generally improve one’s quality of life. The moves are relatively easy to learn and require neither super flexibility or much fitness.</p><p>In this special class guided by Ronen Divon, we will learn and practice several different Qigong techniques that participants can later practice at home.</p><p>No previous knowledge is required, all are welcome! </p><p><em>Regular class pricing applies; one class from your package or $17 to drop in.</em></p></div>
